How to Use This Matrix

Click any column header or filter button to re-sort the matrix:

  • Sort by Most Puffs: see longest-lasting devices first
  • Sort by Cheapest $/puff: see best long-term value
  • Sort by Lowest Price: see best entry-point options
  • Filter “Under $20”: budget-conscious shopping
  • Filter “40K+ puffs”: heavy-use long-life devices
  • Filter “Best $/puff”: only devices under $0.70 per 1,000 puffs

What the Matrix Tells Us

After comparing 30+ disposables side-by-side, three patterns emerge:

  1. Cost-per-puff drops sharply above 40K puffs. Devices in the 50K-100K range hit $0.40-$0.55 per 1,000 puffs. Devices below 25K hit $0.72-$1.20.
  2. Smart screens are now standard above 25K. Every 25K+ device in our catalog has battery + e-liquid level display. Below 20K, screens are still rare.
  3. Modular pod systems are competitive but not dominant. The Fogr Next 40K and Foger Switch Pro 30K hit similar $/puff to single-piece devices but reduce battery waste 75-80%.

Methodology

All pricing reflects MSRP at Vapekage as of April 2026. Puff counts are manufacturer-advertised — real-world testing typically delivers 86-94% of advertised maximum (see our 2026 industry statistics report). Cost-per-puff is calculated as: (price ÷ puffs) × 1,000. Smart screen indicates devices with battery + e-liquid level display.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are these puff counts?
Puff counts shown are manufacturer-advertised maximums. In our independent continuous-use tests, devices typically deliver 86-94% of advertised puffs. The closer the device runs to its advertised number in our tests, the higher we’d rank it for honesty — but most major brands now hit at least 90% of claimed puffs.
Why does cost-per-puff matter more than total price?
Total price tells you upfront cost; cost-per-puff tells you long-term spend. A $24.99 50K disposable at $0.50/1000 puffs is much cheaper over a year than a $9.99 5K disposable at $1.80/1000 puffs — even though the 5K is “cheaper” at the register.
What’s the difference between Foger and Fogr Next?
Two different brands. Foger (with E) makes the Foger Bit 35K and Foger Switch Pro 30K. Fogr (no E) makes the Fogr Next 40K modular pod system. Vapekage stocks both. See our Fogr Next 40K guide for details.
Are all devices in this matrix authentic?
Yes. Vapekage sources only from US-authorized distributors. We do not stock counterfeit, grey-market, or unauthorized vape products. Every device on this matrix is in stock at vapekage.com/ with verified authenticity.
How often is the matrix updated?
Quarterly. We update pricing, add new SKUs, and remove discontinued devices. Last update: April 2026.
Why are some popular devices missing?
If a device isn’t in our catalog, it’s not in the matrix. We focus on devices we can authentically source and ship from our Texas warehouse. Devices like Elf Bar (now EBDESIGN) and Hyde aren’t currently in our catalog due to supply chain decisions.
